| Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos" Usually the slime (cyanobacteria) is just a natural progression of a new tank. It is more opportunistic than other algaes, and normally it comes first, then microalgaes start to outcompete it for food and space and it goes away. The best recommendation I've got to eliminate it for now is to blow it off/suck it out with a turkey baster. I had it for about 3 weeks during the first couple months with my tank, then it disappeared. |
