I love the bowl tank that is just off the hook .
And the fact that you are lighting it with a solar tube is even better .
Looks like the light reaches through that big tank just fine .
Now I am really leaning towards natural lighting over my reef .
I think when the full moon is out the tank looks pretty rad as well :-)
Glad that I finally found a person that has a tank lit this way .

Everyones main concern was algae , Do you have a serious problem with algae in your bowl tank ? It looks crystal clear to me .
Also , What kind of lens did you use on the end above the tank ? You mention it was a special lens . Also how long did it take you to figure out the distance above the tank to place the lens ? Did you start out long and cut off till you had the light the way you liked it ?

I like the fact that you have your house plants under it as well absorbing up the extra light that passes by . TOOOOO COOOOOOOOL :-D The plants all seem to be very happy there under the ocean .lol
