Thanks Al, Greg and Drew. I respect your opinions and it's great to get affirmations from the people I respect.
Same goes for you Michael! That is one of those white spots that BS get. Spotty is not immune from the color changes in skin as all other BS. What caused it is a mystery. With all of his digging and rubbing up against rough terrain, it is no wonder he has the occasional color change. He is very hardy, eats well and is otherwise a normal acting BS. Spotty doesn't really jump that much and stays pretty much to his burrow.
As far as the Elegance goes, it is plucking my every last nerve. I haven't had it long enough to become familiar with when and what makes it happy. Just when I think it is dying, it inflates and looks like that. I have been getting some advice from Greg on how to care for this beauty. Here is another picture of Spotty using it as a door mat!
As you can see, he has some color changes in the skin here too. These spots can be there today and gone tomorrow. From my observation, these pigment changes are not uncommon. It's entirely possible that he is being stung when he brushes up against corals with stinging nematocysts!
