I know this sounds crazy, but what if everyone had a gun. I like to think there are more good people than bad ones out threre. That kid would have walked on stage and got maybe one shot off before the whole front row would have taken him out. It seems like the criminals big advantage is being armed amongst the unarmed, I wonder what would happen if that wasn't the case. I have to go make the rounds on my compound, fix my generator, paint the bomb shelter, and stich up my camoflauge, talk to you later.

Definitely my argument for lack of gun control! Although I believe (in Florida at least) guns aren't allowed to be carried on school property (of any kind).

This whole things is a real tragedy, and being a college student myself these things really do make me more cautious when I'm attending class or on campus. The problem with colleges (in this respect) is that they are designed so that people can just walk in and out. It would be changing the whole nature of college if they locked everything down. How would I get into the business building to talk to an advisor? To talk to a professor during office hours? Would I get locked out of class if I was late because of work (most of my night school teachers are pretty understanding of this)?
