Well Terry, the drain pipe is 1.5". As far as an internal / external sump pump, I'm not sure, I'm open for options. What are the pros / cons of each?

The sump will be roughly 38 gallons.

As far as turnover rate for the closed loop.... I plan to keep SPS. What would be a good starting point?
