Well, I filled it first with the feed pump, if that's what you mean. As I read the directions the venturi should suck air and there's plenty of air going in. The body is full of micro bubbles from about an inch from the bottom on up. Getting a nice dark skimate already. Pump has quit leaking so I guess I'm good to go. I guess the pump noise is to be expected, this is the first external pump I've ever run on my tank. I don't get any whistle from the air intake though, unless it's high frequency that is. Don't hear anything up there any more. |
