I went to lowes and home depot. They did not have all the parts I needed. IO guess I can go look again. Well, I had to reorder the bulk heads the ones I ordered did not fit. So I called jack. I had to get a different type of BH for this tank. Oh Well. It gave me reason to order a few other things. Like a coral fragging kit and another power head. Dont worry this one is for my 100 gallon. I am seeing so water movement issues in it right now. So I got a Korailia 2.
Also I got my stand and canopy all finished last night. I will get some pictures up this evening. I am very pleased with how it turned out. NOW, I want to paint the inside of the stand. What type of paint should I use. I want the Inside to be white. I guess they make some sort of water proof marine paint.
I figured that since it has taken this long to get this far, I should just go ahead and do everything exactly how I want it. I am also going to put a pan liner or some sort of drip pan in the bottom of the stand.
Inside the stand will be kinda dark, so I am going to use the Current USA Powerbrite to illuminate it. I have the 10000K version. It puts out a good bit of light. So I am goint to mount it inside the stand. One on each end. This will light up my stand, and I wont have to worry about putting in a clamp light ,and the heat and other issues involved with that.
