| Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure. Thank you everybody for the good thoughts and wishes.
Sas I guess it is internal since it isn't external. LOL You should know me well enough to know I have to guess at these things since Frank puts it all together. I know the temp/ph probe I have in the fuge is a completely separate piece of equipment. The temp probe now says 75 while the chiller says 73. When I discovered the problem they said 71.9 and 68. I think I am best off leaving it there for tonight. The chiller hasn't kicked on again. Since the lights are off and the temp here is at least not hot I think I will shut it off for the night. I don't think the temp will go up much overnight but I guess I don't really know. I've already decided to stay home tomorrow. Our washing machine broke today so between waiting for the repair man and watching the tank for any deaths I think it just makes sense.
The fish were rather lethargic at feeding time. I assume it is related. Most of them did eat but not with the gusto they usually do. Everybody was still moving around though. So far so good..
Heinz, now you have me really curious. That lasts you a year? For all of your tanks or just the 115? Do you have any idea what it costs to make up a batch? I read a bit about it when you posted before but somehow I didn't realize that one batch lasted that long. Now you have me very curious. I see myself following the link and reading up on it tomorrow. |
