I know zoanthids have neurotoxins to protect themselves, but they don't ever seem aggessive. they seem like the least aggressive corals I have.
The close when the xenia touch them, they closed when the mushroom started growing over them. That pretty much seems like their only defence mechanism. Close. lol

Never had the scroll coral.

Are you talking about soft tissue touching soft tissue?
