Hair algae on my Toadstool?

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't have the correct terminology. There is a little Ha growing "on" the base & trunk of my toadstool (Sarophyton). Is this a sign that the coral is unhealthy? I've had it for years it has grown the polyps are extended nicely it gets good flow. Overall it looks nice & healthy. I would think It had a way to keep algae from growing on it.
