Clam Stressed????

Do you know how when you might move your corals around in the tank or accidentally bump them, they will generate a mucus coat that leaks off of them in a stringy substance?

Well, I notice a similar situation with the outer edges of the mantle on my Crocea. The "stringy substance" is much more fine and less noticeable than that which is produced by corals. Other than this issue, the clam looks and acts perfectly. Can this just be debris from the tank, or may it be early signs of something else?

Thanks,
Chris
