You don't need to feed them anything. A good majority of their food comes from Photosynthesis (which is why you worry about which lights you have) and the rest comes from what they catch suspended in the water column. Be very careful about trying to feed your corals at least for now. It's VERY easy to over feed and bring your water quality WAY down. Also Brine Shrimp have little to NO nutritional value. It's very similar to Pop-Corn to us. It tastes good but doesn't really add much to our diet. That doesn't mean I DON'T eat pop-corn though.

Some people DO spot feed their FrogSpawn and I have tried. I've had FrogSpawn almost a year now and have YET to get any of them to take food.

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.
