I don't think a DSB in the display is a good idea because of the maintenance, difficult replacement, live rock taking up the bulk of space, etc. Put it in a fuge where you can maintain it and let it do it's work.

I can't believe I'm about to say this... but I don't like bare bottoms, I think they are just unnatural. (Insert joke here)
