Re: Help ID my new flasher wrasse please

Thanks everyone for helping me ID this guy. I'm amazed at how difficult it can be to ID a fish but I suppose many of the fish in this genus do look somewhat similar and to make matters worse, they are often photographed when they are flashing and therefore displaying different colors and more prominent markings so it's hard to compare my new wrasse to those photos.

So far I think I'm with you Prow, I found this image of a filamented flasher and it sure does look like mine. What do you all think? Is this a "positive" ID?
