I bought it yesterday, and it reacted perfectly.. Even when I got it home, it quickly adapted to the tank opened up wide and reacted swiftly to light changes.

However, it has not opened an entire 9.5 hour lighting cycle. I'm not an expert, but I am fairly certain it was because of the shrimp issue.

How long can a clam stay closed before I should get concerned?
