Getting a little salty

Hello everyone. Im new to the forum world but kept finding useful info from this site, so I deceided to give it a go.

I purchased a home that came with a stocked 125 gal. tank that was poorly maintained and stocked with assorted fancy tails and koi. I have cleaned and changed filtration to accomadate the present occupants but intend on giving them to a neighbors pond and switching to a fish only salt set up.

My present filtration although good for a fresh water set up (Fluval FX5) probably would not be able to keep up with the higher demands and gph needed for my new venture, so I purchased a Pro Series 150 w/ integrated skimmer from Pro Clear Aquatics. I have also purchased a Koralia 3 pump to move things around. Other than that I'm open to suggestions (hoping the previous purchases werent a mistake- still learning)

I believe my tank is an Oceanic 125 gal (72 inches (L)by 18inches (W) by 21 inches (H).

I look forward to all the insight and expertise this site and its members bring to the table (tank?). Thanks for all the future help.
