I don't order live stock online ...only because of the added expense and the fact that there are plenty of lfs in my area........

Have you looked into finding a reef club nearby ? I've just joined one in my area and have found them to be a GREAT source of information, equipment and frags. You can save a lot by hooking up with fellow enthusiasts if you can....everybody sort of passes unneeded/unwanted used equiptment around and shares frags and such for minimal cost for the most part. Not to mention that you find a local group of people you can actually "share" your hobby with....lol.....most "normal" people hear you start talking fish and they tend to walk away.....hehe
