They are new. I've had them for a week now, and they just recently finally opened at all. I feed right after the lights go out for I have a bunch of suns. I think the Duncan may be training themselves to open when I feed the rest of the tank. But I thought that Duncan's open all the time?

They are about 3-4 inches away from the surface for I heard they loved light. They are only compacts.. Not halides. Could they be too close?
