I have a 12 gallon kalkwasser reservoir hooked up to my ATO inside the sump of my 120 gallon reef.
To fill the reservoir, I mix in 4-7 tablespoons of kalkwasser per 4 gal bucket and fill it up. I do not mix inside the reservoir. I let it settle and every 8 months or so, I will clean it out and remove the thick muck that settles in the bottom.
