I would suggest C. prolifera, razor caulerpa, and even grape caulerpa (both red and green).
Chaeto is great for a sump but I would not put it in a seahorse tank. For me it is too tightly wound and a curious seahorses could get tangled in it.
Gracilaria is also good for in tank. Ulva I have never had much luck keeping alive.
I would not use it for trying to breed copepods or amphipods, the seahorses will wipe out those populations in very short order.
I am over on the NJ shore so not far away. I may be able to help you out with a few starters of macroalgaes.
