| i lost a sandsifting goby at one point through my hood. I had left 3 inches in the back for Misc pipes, cords... Well he found his way through it. who would have thought that a sand sifting fish was a jumper. My plans for my second hood was to build a bit more of a lip and make sure that the hood enclosed the whole tank. An opening of a tank could be modified velcroing or glueing a piece of plastic onto the hood and connecting it to the tank which should keep any jumpers from getting out.
Anythought on a suicide hotline? Maybe that would keep any fish who is thinking about it from jumping?
