I have a few suggestions for you..

#1 Slow down buddy.... it's not cycled or anything. If you add live-stock now you'll most likely lose it all and have a serious tank "Crash". You need to read and slow down my friend.
I've been taking readings everyday and all the parameters are currently in spec. But my plan from the start was to give it a few weeks to make certain that it really has cycled. Some $15 mushrooms I can afford to lose IF I get the major "Crash" as you speak of.

#2 Glue the rock. "Critters" will be in there and if they aren't glued/pegged or anchored some way the offs of a rock slide are VERY great.
No thanks, I don't like the glue method. I prefer a method that allows me to change things around and glue doesn't do it for me. Thanks for the advice but it's not my style.

#3 Get the "hinged" legs for your light. I got the regular ones first (I ordered them with the fixture) and then after a few weeks got the hinged ones. MUCH better and allows you to merely raise the light with one hand if need be. Just a couple of bucks more and well worth the $$
Thanks, didn't even know they made hinded legs. I'll look into it if the regular ones don't give me access room to the tank.

#4 Get some test kits and start doing your water tests YESTERDAY! Track each test result so you can "See" the tank's cycle as it happens and you'll know without a doubt what the status of your tank is.
See reply to #1
