I've read that hot water can damage the RO membrane pretty quickly (within minutes). The best thing to do is check your TDS on the water you have made and see if it is elevated. That would tell you if the membrane is messed up. I'm not sure about the DI resin, but I think the RO membrane is the biggest concern with hot water.
