| Re: Solaris 400 watt I series what i have read on many boards is that its the acclimation that is the issue. the LEDs are point focus down. this means all the intensity is aimed and funneled into the tank. when switching from another lighting sys that atleast 50% of the light is reflected and cast towards other areas of the tank (walls cieling of room as well) the intensity, even though lower wattage is a shock.
