Welcome to RS!
We have several members here with the Solaris and at least one with the I series. I've not heard about them being too strong but one of the awesome things about the leds is the fact that you can adjust them however you like. Once you find what you like, you can just leave it there without adjusting unless you add livestock that needs it.
