Re: MY 75 Gallon BAR TOP!

THANKS! Im keeping the much easier to keep SPS, different kind of montis, i want to eventually get into the acros and such and i feel that i will need to add one or 2 MH setups. one thing that i would have done differently is gotten a wider tank instead of a taller tank that way there is more room for clams and such on the sbustrate, but im not complaining... I love my tank... but to answer your questions. The montis are doing great there is some good groth with both of them that i have and i think knowing what i know now i would have gone with the retrofitted t-5 with the individual reflectors that can be over driven. When they are overdriven they put out much much more wattage and more intense light up to 80 watts per bulb instead of 54 watts per bulb. and the nova extreme has only 1 reflector for all 4 bulbs which is not as efficient but over all it is an amazing lighting fixture and would recommend it if your not going to have a canopy.
