Stress from QT to display should be minimum if you slowly change the QT to the same water parameters (pH, temp, Alk, Ca, Mg, sp. gr., etc.) of the display.
Just observe the fish in quarantine. It is a time for both you and the fish to get to know each other. It is a time to train the fish on what proper foods to eat: http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/...nutrition.html and to truly acclimate the fish to captive life without other fish interactions.
