Re: DrHank's Tank's

OK, here are a couple of recent additions to my 210. The story behind addition #1 is that I'm helping my dentist learn how to maintain his office 75 gallon tank. He let his previous maintenance person go because he was being taken advantage of. Anyway, When I arrived I found a beautiful tomato clown in a 15 gallon tank which looked like it had never seen a water change. Anyway they offered it to me and I felt so sorry for the fish that I tool him. He now resides comfortably in my tank.

Anyway, I had my small (about 1") GBTA and he started nuzzling almost immediately. Dummy me thinks the poor guy would probably love the big Sebae that I had previously turned down. Biting my tongue and waiting for the I told you so, I called our club member and she was thrilled to hear that I wanted it. She said that it had grown way too big for her 55 and she was right.

So as you can see it's picked a good spot and is very happy. Do you think that the clown just rushed right over and made himself home? No way! He ignores this beautiful creature in favor of the tiny GBTA. I should have known. Anyway, about 2 weeks ago another club member posts that he's wanting to convert his 125 from a SSB to bare bottom. Ok, I'll go help him if I can have the old sand. Great, he's happy for the help and so it's a done deal. Well now that he's going bare bottom, he has a small yellow watchman goby that I can have if I want. OK, I'll put him in the big tank and he'll make himself a nice home under the rock. Well, he's been in hiding the whole time until I decide to rearrange the rock (move it to the back so that I have more open floorspace). Anyway, today I'm looking over the tank and whar do I see?

The little guy is as happy as can be working the sand behind the anemone. So anyway, you folks can welcome my new additions and my entry into the anemone club. Sometimes the best laid plans....
