The filtration system:

As I mentioed above, all the filtration is in the garage.

The sump is a DIY made out of acrylic, it can hold about 40 gal and has to buble traps baffles and such because I want the maximum amount of space. I built a separate box for the filter sock and carbon compartment so their is no bubles exiting this filter sock box. It is modular so it can be removed and clean easily. The skimmer is a ASM G3 with an Ozone generator. I've found that the ozone really makes the water crystal clear and no yellow tint in the water at all. Their is also a DIY phosban reactor that I use for running phospahte removal meadia(I prefered phosphate sponge because it doesn't yellow up the water like phosban does). A genx 40 pump is used to return water back to the main tank.

above the sump is a 30 gal frag tank, and above the frag tank their is a 90 gal refugium and the water is fed by another small genx pump that send the water from the sump to the fuge and then overflow to the frag tank and then overflow back down to the sump. The fuge is lighted by 2 48" T5 that is reverse photo period to the main system. The frag tank is also on reverse photo.

Calcium is provided by a DIY calcium reactor, and the top off system is consited of a fresh RO water reservior gravity feed to the DIY kalk reactor and into the float valve and into the sump.

Food is dispensed via an auto feeder of formular 1 and 2 pellets twice a day. The water reservoir can sustain the tank for two weeks so I can go on vacation once in a while.

Cooling is done by a 1/3 hourse chiller inline with the main pump.

I think thats about it
