best advice, when you have the tank to put him in then get him. lions are delicate when it comes to transfers, there dorsal spines and pectoral rays break easily. when you do get him, ask your LFS to not use a net but catch him in a specimen container,,its SO much safer for them. spines and nets DO NOT mix.

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
