i just place mine between a couple baffles on the bottom. the flow doesnt allow the heat to build up so no worries about over heating the glass and it cracking. if you dont like the idea of it sitting on the bottom, you could look into plastic hanger type thing. like what they use on tunze streamer pumps, you could just zip tie it to one of those.
