It has 4 or 5 mouths (?) and it stays open like that all the time. My LED moonlights don't light up the area he is in so I can't tell what he looks like at night. It looks like it's receeding a little in the lower left corner because I can see the skeleton. I saw that when I bought it. I got it sort-of discounted ($60) so I'm hoping that with good care, he will fill back out.
I may try to feed it a piece of krill or silversides sometime this week to see if it's interested. I haven't directly fed any of my corals yet and they all appear to be doing well (knock on wood) but this one has very obvious large mouths (I think that's what they are.)
I welcome any and all advice on this baby! Off to research. |
