| Re: BigAl's slow chronicle . . . Jack I'll be running this on a 90g tank with a 29g sump giving me a total of approximately 119g (before rock & sand etc). Here's the "kicker". From the bottom of the sump to the top of the over flow in the display tank was roughly 65" (5 1/2') which will probably reduce the flow consdirably and I am also contemplating the SCWD Switching Current Water Director (SCWD) inside the tank which also "eats flow". Would you still opt for the smaller one? I was thinking I could use a larger one and NOT use a pair of power heads in the DT but I may be jumping ahead of myself there.

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!! Quote: |

Allen's home-made formula... (-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume ( That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of ( NO3) somewhere around 50%. Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
