| Re: My Confession My calcium tends to hover between 400 and 425 ppm, and I drip kalk at night for my makeup water. I do keep PurpleUp handy just in case my calcium goes low, but haven't used any for at least 4 months now without any problems.
Quick question if anyone has the time: In the FTS above, you can kind or see that on the PVC return lines the coralline algae stops growing at about the same level on either side. It hasn't grown above that line on the back pane of glass either. You could just about draw a line across the tank where it won't grow above. Any ideas why it would just stop growing at a certain height?
