| Re: Recommended lighting. Absolutely! It's almost identical to what I have. Also remember clams like certain surfaces for their bottoms to rest on, some like sand while some like rock so research a little before you get one.
crocea stay small (6") and like hard surface
derasa's get big (18") and tolerate both surfaces
gigas get huge! 4+ FEET, but are less demanding of intense light since many are found in deep water.
maximas get to 16" and like hard surfaces
Squamosa's get to 16" and need firm surface, not sand
