i gather that collecting is common, but i was just wondering if anyone has done the opposite. i know it's dangerous for the ecosystem and all that, but so is taking.
someone posted a link on this site about lionfish not native to the area getting loose and breeding. i thought it was great, but didn't take the local ecosystem into mind.
up here in Connecticut and i think NY, from what i understand, a shipment of parakeets got loose, and adapted to wildlife. however, having no natural predators their out of control.
anyway i'm just rambling now, has anyone set a domesticated creature free?
