The back and side panels were made among other things from white portland cement (CEM I) that is innocuous and without any additives. I formed the rough structure out of polystyrene, this structure became then 6 - 7 times with cement coated (cement is approx. 6cm). Back and side panel consist of three parts, After that the cement drying was, the polystyrene was etch out (with hydrochloric acid 10%ig). The developed cavities again with cement one filled, so three parts from pure cement with many caves and shelters developed. On the pictures one cannot show unfortunately the many swimming areas between the individual caves. There is present so many caves that everyone of my animals its own sleep cave has.

edit: I have naturally also LR in the FO, approx. 80Kg (176lbs.) (20kg (44lbs)tank and 60Kg (132lbs) in sump)! |
