Yes Kathy, I did get a GBTA. One of the guys in our local reef club was taking down his tank and brought it an a piece of rock. No one else either wanted it or had a tank established long enough to take it. I figured that I had to chance it (someone had to give it a home). I'm just glad that my tank was established enough and that I had the lighting for it.
Vicki, that seems to be the case for all corals. Everything I had was doing wonderfully in my 210. When I had to take it down all got crammed into a 110 and a 65. I just wouldn't have the space to try a hydrophora.
Melanie, yes they do really pop. They are my favorites and would you believe that I only paid $10 for the colony.
