| Re: UV Sterilizers ?? There are other ways of killing Ick, none of them are fun. Yes a UV sterilizer will help but be aware it kills indiscrimately and takes out the good with the bad bacterias. That's usually not a problem since the good are reproduced again quickly by the inhabitants of the tank. Be aware also that UV sterilizers cannot be relied upon to keep the tank free of disease, but IMO a sterilizer is a good thing to have. As far as quality of sterilizers I'm not as qualified to answer that and someone like Icstorc who has one will be along.
