Reef Geek,

Excellent work on your DIY sump!!!

One question...when compared to my sump, the water level in your sump is almost to the top of your sump. The water level in my sump is much, much lower to accomodate the extra volume should a power outage or a main pump malfunction was to occur.

How does your system prevent from an overflow should a power outage or main pump malfunction occur.
