| The photos are insequence. I built the birch plywood box with the pocket screws and glued all edges with water proof glue. I then added the 1x4's to the inside or added strength. I really did build a skelleton I just put the pieces in 1 at a time and screwed them to the plywood in both directions just to add support. The tank itself actuually sits on the plywood so all of the weight is in effect trying to compress the plywood which is impossible with the amount of weight it has. I think 2X4's is a little overkill but if it makes you feel better then go for it. I just couldnt give up that much room. I have run out of room under my stand now. My C02 bottle wont even fit under it. Hope this helps explain it a little better. |
