| Red Slime Remover/Euro-Reef Gate Value
I did it against some recommendations...I doesd with Red Slime Remover! I just wanted some help to kick the cyano problem. I did this about 24 hrs ago and see no noticeable change. Now I'm debating in hitting it with the second dose or just leave it. I am so surprised this stuff isn't working! I must have a resistant strain of cyano or something! If I could get my hands on my hair I will be pulling it out!
I have also jsut got my Tropic Marine Pro salt mix....maybe this switch will help.
Lastly, I just picked up the Euro-Reef gate-value addition for my skimmer. It is quite a big set up but seems to be pretty slick. All those using a ER skimmer I would suggest taking a look. Simple and easy adjustment of skimming with the twist of the value handle....much easy and more accurate than that stand pipe. I will take a pic later today.
