| Snowflake eel and a trigger fish Last night my family (my wife, 16 and 14 year old boys and 5 year old daughter) went to a pet store because I wanted to show them what a snowflake looked like. Of course it was hidden under some rock. The manager came over and I asked him if he could uncover the eel so my family could see it.
He said "Sure!". He reached into the big gold fish tank, grabbed two, and threw them in with the eel and trigger. The trigger IMMEDIATELY started taking chunks out of them. My wife grabbed out little girls eyes and said "You don't need to see this!". To tell you the truth, it kind of shocked me. I've never seen a trigger in action. He was very efficient.
The eel smelled what was going on and came out from where he was, and was about about half way up from the bottom. A gold fish "kind of" swam by the eel and the eel snagged him and dragged it under the rock.
My 14 year old (always a smart a$$) said "Now THAT is great entertainment!!!". LOL!!!
My 16 year old said "So if we get that eel we'll have to keep a tank of goldfish to feed it?". YIKES!!!
LOL!!!
(my wife wasn't impressed so I bought her a cairn terrier pup which is the main reason we went there anyway) |
