| Re: mandarin fish The rule of thumb that I have seen is 1 year before adding a Mandarin. This gives the tank time to become stable and allows the microfauna time to develope. I have also heard 100 lbs of LR. I was at my LFS the other day and they had two Mandarins. They were hovering at the top of the tank near the waters edge. The guy told me that is what they do when they are hungry. It broke my heart. All I could do was hope that someone with a mature tank would come and buy them. My tank is only 7 month old and 180lbs of LR. |
