| Patrick, I never seem to build anything exactly to specs. I recessed the hose barb about a 1/4". Then instead of just letting the 2" elbow stop there I slid a 2" pvc pipe into it, about 12" long. This stopped the noise, of the jet airplain. As far as it being variable, I just put a valve on the air input side, this allows you to adjust the amount of air input. Then just put a valve in the input line to the eductor from the pump. Works great and kick the becketts.... ....well you know what.
