I think he was captured by pirates and the pirates tied some concrete blocks to his legs and dropped him into the the water where he sunk down to the abyss where he is currently rocking the house with the spookfish, anglers, octos, and the godfather...the kraken.
That reminds me, do you ever think the fish of the abyss are the gangsters of the sea? I think they are in the mafia.
