ATM I do not plan on adding much more LR. I like alot of lateral swimming area. I also don't want to inhibit flow.
The rocks in the middle are waiting for the LR from the other tank.
I picked up the repaired part last evening. I hooked everything up. The recirculating pump was on but seemed stuck, nothing was happening and there was just a slight hummmmm from the motor. I stared and stared...knocked on it...stared some more...finally noticed water in the air hose, I drained it and water was coming from the the little knobby thing when I took the hose completely off. I put the hose back on and stared some more. About an hour or two later, I thought...What if I blow in the hose and force air into the pump...wha la!...LMAO~~~SEE~~~ these are the sort of things that have kept this project in an ongoing state.
I had to put the Cheato in the media chamber for the moment, I'll make basket for it in the fuge right now it travels to the return hose.
