As far as the hammerheads yeah I've heard they are strong but I'm trying to get as much flow as possible in my tank I figure that I will have a total flow of at least 12500gph with the two hammerheads and my return pump. I've always heard the more flow the better especially for SPS's, we'll see I guess.
Cheeks69..... I only plan on have a very light substrate approximatel 1" just for looks, I plan on keeping SPS's, Clams, and yes Fish and maybe 1 or 2 LPS's. I plan on putting at least 230 to 250 pounds of rock. I pick up my rock on Tuesday.
Well, I'm working on my on my plumbing still I've noticed that I thought I had purchased everything and I double checked my self a hundred times to find out once I started to work on my plumbing that I didn't have my bulkheads
So, I tried to go to some LFS and of course none of them had any and neither did Home Depot or Lowes, so now I'm at a stand still until Monday when I can go to Custom Aquatics and get bulkheads. All is well though, I'm still working on the return plumbing inside the tank where my rock will be placed on.
