Scooterman,
I was also skeptical about this. the first pics I saw of this they used an adaptor instead of a coupler at the end (output) of the eductor. I though this would add some resistance to the flow so thats why I went with a coupler instead. the next morning after I put the eductor on there was a large indent in the sand bed in front of the eductor so yes, I noticed a big difference. I also put my hand in front of the output of the eductor and then took the eductor off and put my hand in front of the output w/o the eductor and I noticed a big difference. I can't see any reason why this would be a bad idea.
