I think that the secracy is because they don't know what the problem is. When I talked to Marine Depot he said that they were only recalling the ones from distributors and that it wasn't a public recall, and that we were just in the loop finding out about it. I have a feeling that they just want to check them out to see if there is an actual problem before recalling the entire purchased supply. When I called them they said that they would upgrade me for free as well for my #3's and that I could wait on the #2's if I wanted to. They were very helpful.
